More Melon Days Stuff

Sorry about the slowness in the slideshow, It was a lot faster on photo bucket, but I'm too lazy to go back and try changing it. So hopefully you make it through all the pictures (just 12).

I just wanted to add more pictures of the weekend to show how much fun we really had. First off Friday was an exciting day, for the Meadows family. We welcomed in Mattie Aspen, born at 9:37am, 6lbs 13oz, 21in on her moms birthday to top it off. The queens pageant was also quite the experience. Kaidence and Lillian sang another High School Musical song, this one was a little too fast for them, but I think they pulled it off ok. Once again they surprised me by even going up on stage. Especially Kaidence, the first night of practice she made everyone leave the room just to sing in the dark. I was pretty nervous.

Saturday we had an eventful day at the parade and the park. That night we went to the Charlie Jenkins Concert. The kids loved the music and the chance to play around and dance. After the concert he sold CD's and signed autographs. Each kid of course wanted their own, so we scrounged(spelling??) up something for him to sign. I didn't think Ryker would even care but he wanted his shirt done too.

Sunday we started off the day with the wonderful blessing of Avery Lynn Shorts. Rylan and Kelly's newest addition. My Grandma Shorts was able to come down, it's so nice when we can all get together as a family. After the blessing we went and had our family pictures taken. My friend Emilie took them for us. So much work, I just hope it was worth it for her. The pictures turned out really good, but as you can imagine the kids were so wild that some of them didn't turn out. I myself like the ones that everyone is just being themselves. The kids were monkeys. I'll post some of them later.

Well sorry again about the long post, I'll try to keep it short next time. My mind just keeps going and going. Devan would say, "Just like your mouth". As most of you know, I love to talk.

Until next time...
