Family Pictures 2008

Here are some of the pictures we had taken in September. We're going again some time to retake my family ones, but let me know what you think about the rest. I know you can't do much about the people in the pictures, it's just a good thing the kids are cute. We had a good time taking them though, I just hope Emilie will have enough patience to take them again.Rylan, Kelly, Stockton, Kylan & Avery

Don, Tarena, Brikell, Brock, Brooklyn, Bridjer & Briella

Devan, Loni, Kaidence & Ryker

Luke, Bryson & RaKayla

More Melon Days Stuff

Sorry about the slowness in the slideshow, It was a lot faster on photo bucket, but I'm too lazy to go back and try changing it. So hopefully you make it through all the pictures (just 12).

I just wanted to add more pictures of the weekend to show how much fun we really had. First off Friday was an exciting day, for the Meadows family. We welcomed in Mattie Aspen, born at 9:37am, 6lbs 13oz, 21in on her moms birthday to top it off. The queens pageant was also quite the experience. Kaidence and Lillian sang another High School Musical song, this one was a little too fast for them, but I think they pulled it off ok. Once again they surprised me by even going up on stage. Especially Kaidence, the first night of practice she made everyone leave the room just to sing in the dark. I was pretty nervous.

Saturday we had an eventful day at the parade and the park. That night we went to the Charlie Jenkins Concert. The kids loved the music and the chance to play around and dance. After the concert he sold CD's and signed autographs. Each kid of course wanted their own, so we scrounged(spelling??) up something for him to sign. I didn't think Ryker would even care but he wanted his shirt done too.

Sunday we started off the day with the wonderful blessing of Avery Lynn Shorts. Rylan and Kelly's newest addition. My Grandma Shorts was able to come down, it's so nice when we can all get together as a family. After the blessing we went and had our family pictures taken. My friend Emilie took them for us. So much work, I just hope it was worth it for her. The pictures turned out really good, but as you can imagine the kids were so wild that some of them didn't turn out. I myself like the ones that everyone is just being themselves. The kids were monkeys. I'll post some of them later.

Well sorry again about the long post, I'll try to keep it short next time. My mind just keeps going and going. Devan would say, "Just like your mouth". As most of you know, I love to talk.

Until next time...

A Very Late Melon Days Post

I know, I'm very late in posting this, but the pictures were so cute I just had to add them. All of the family came down for Melon Days this year and we had a lot of fun. I really enjoy it when we can get together as family. I wish we could more often. My Grandma and Grandpa Rachiele even came down. It was nice to see Grandpa out and about. I didn't do very well with the camera this weekend. So much was going on that I forgot to get out the camera. First off Kaidence and Lillian sang at the queens pageant Friday night, but all I got was a video. So if anyone has pictures, please email them to me. Ryker loved playing on the bouncey things, but when I remembered to get out the camera the batteries were dead. Kaidence went off and played with Brikell and Shyann, so I missed her too. Another exciting thing I missed out on was Devan playing softball again. Every year Rylan brings a team from work and usually asks Devan, Don and Bryan to play with them. Most years they don't do very good, but this year they won a few games. Devan says he's getting too old to play but I tell him "You'll just hurt for a few days". This year Luke didn't get to play because he was running the tournament, Don was afraid of breaking his foot again, and Bryan was at the hospital with Bridget having their baby. Mattie Aspen, born on her moms birthday, how neat. My dad didn't make it down because of work so we didn't have Rykers birthday like we normally do.
Well I've gottin' pretty long winded so I guess I'll get going. Sorry if someone notices that I missed something. I found some more pictures, so hopefully soon I can get them posted. Here are just a few from the parade mostly.

Ryker's 1st Day of Preschool

Ryker and RaKayla getting their stuff ready.
Big Cheese!

Come on Mom, no more pictures.Which way should we go?
I didn't get as many pictures of them, but I tried. Too much was going on that day. Don't they look so grown up? They were both so excited to go to the same school that Kaidence and Bryson went to, I just hope they like it as much. So far so good!

Kaidence's First Day of Kindergarten.

Ryker has to be a part of everything his "sissy" does.

Kaidence ready to leave for school, her first day of Kindergarten.

On our way, she's so excited!

Looking a little nervous now?

The three cousins - Lillian, Kaidence & Bryson.

They're looking too grown up.

The Kids must of been hungry, the first thing they did was ask Ryker for a bite of his cookie. She said "I had a good day, lets go have lunch now."
